The striving for "more" - on the one hand a virtue for prosperity, on the other hand a curse in view of limited resources - demand a reorientation.
Caring for the environment and also a certain willingness to forego and be satisfied with what has been achieved seems inevitable to ensure an adequate standard of living for the growing population.
On a small scale, we try to implement the environmental idea within the company by offering jobs in the region and preferably employing employees from the surrounding area with short commuter routes.
Our production halls are integrated into a landscape park with natural surface infiltration. The company premises offer shelter for small animals and birds as well as relaxation for the employees.
Most of our products are recyclable and are shipped without packaging or the packaging is reused - optically not that perfect, but it saves resources.
These pictures taken by Helmut Steinbacher during a trip to Svalbard are intended to raise awareness of the threat to humanity from changing framework conditions and provide intellectual cooling.
