Privacy policy
Personal data
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003).
In principle, no personal data is collected on this website, unless you provide it voluntarily (e. g. by sending your contact by e-mail). The data provided by you will only be used for the purposes specified in each case (e. g. contact, quotation, etc.). We will neither share your personal data with third parties nor market them otherwise.
Form data
All forms on this website are primarily used for the visitor to contact us. All data entered is treated as strictly confidential and is not passed on to third parties. After submitting a form, the data entered is stored on the server for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions, as well as being sent in an e-mail to the visitor and to the site operator for further processing. Optional input fields are provided to facilitate contact and subsequent correspondence. We make a point of only marking really necessary entries as mandatory fields.
Enquiries that do not lead to a specific business case with corresponding storage periods are also stored in our business contact database in order to facilitate any correspondence for subsequent enquiries and business cases. Furthermore, where we can identify legitimate interest in products/service areas, this data will be used to provide information about them in the future. Inactive contacts and enquiry details will be deleted after a period of time from the last correspondence in accordance with our privacy policy.
Access data/log files
We (or our web space provider) collect data on every access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data include: Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page) and the requesting provider. Your IP address is stored anonymously in the log files of the web server, so that it is not possible to trace website visits to specific IP addresses.
We only use the log data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimisation of the offer. However, we reserve the right to subsequently check the log data if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use due to concrete indications.
Orders in the online shop
In addition to the above information on form data, your data will also be processed in our order management and invoicing software when you place orders in the online shop.
Data necessary for delivery, such as address or contact telephone number, are transferred to our shipping service provider.
All data processing steps involved in this process are carried out by companies that have assured us that the data will be processed in accordance with the GDPR.
Use of cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage and do not contain any personal data. We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
Cookies are set both by our website and - if you agree - by third-party technologies. When you call up our website, we give you the opportunity to choose whether only functional cookies or also third-party cookies (staggered in categories) are permitted in the browser. This decision is stored for a maximum of one year - then you can make the selection again.
Depending on your consent, the following cookies are used on our website:

In addition, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies (especially from third-party providers) and you only allow this in individual cases. If you disable cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited. Use of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyse website usage with the corresponding consent. The data obtained from this is used to optimise our website and advertising measures.
Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes website usage data on our behalf and is contractually committed to measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data processed.
During your visit to the website, the following data, among others, is recorded:
- Pages accessed
- Orders incl. the turnover and the products ordered
- The achievement of "website goals" (e.g. contact enquiries and newsletter sign-ups).
- Your behaviour on the pages (for example, dwell time, clicks, scrolling behaviour)
- Your approximate location (country and city)
- Your IP address (in shortened form, so that no clear assignment is possible)
- Technical information such as browser, internet provider, terminal device and screen resolution
- Source of origin of your visit (i.e. via which website or via which advertising medium you came to us)
Further notes:
- No personal data such as name, address or contact details are ever transferred to Google Analytics.
- The collection of precise location and position data in Google Analytics has been deactivated
This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of data protection cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU.
Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that can be used to recognise you on future visits to the website.
The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. Data in Google Analytics is processed by artificial intelligence. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remain stored in aggregated form indefinitely.
If you do not agree with the collection, you can cancel it with the one-time installation of the Browser add-ons to deactivate Google Analytics (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) or by rejecting the cookies via our cookie settings dialogue.
