The Steinbacher plant in Hollenstein an der Ybbs produces Components for electrical systems which are supplied to the Far East and overseas for special projects.
Among other things, Steinbacher Energie produces high-quality energy in the upper Ybbstal valley. Support insulators and Cable connection lugs for the international market.
Insulators
The Support insulators 1 kV / 3.6 kV have been tried and tested worldwide for 45 years, for example for busbar mounting, and are exported to Europe, India, China and the USA.

- Flame retardant (LOI 30.5 %) and resistant up to 140 °C continuous temperature
- Resistant to UV light, heat ageing, oil, grease, alcohol, ozone, termites, tropical climate

Cable connection lugs
The Cable connection lugs made of copper in the proven V-clamp technology are used in combination with V-clamps for simple direct connection (without crimping) of electrical copper and aluminium conductors of classes RE, RM, SE, SM on conductor rails. The roof-shaped grooves penetrate the oxide layer of the conductor.
