MS Hollenstein excursion

Hands-on career guidance

As part of their career orientation programme, the 3rd grade of the Secondary school Hollenstein/Ybbs visited the company together with their teacher Karl Fürnholzer. A total of 21 pupils travelled by public transport on 9 March 2026 to gain an insight into the world of work.

Work processes at close quarters

The subsequent tour of the company provided an opportunity to familiarise ourselves with various work areas and learn more about the company's processes.

A special highlight was the laser engraving machine: during the tour, name badges were engraved for all participants, which they could then take home with them as a small memento.

The young people were also allowed to get involved themselves: For example, one pupil worked with technician Michael Steinbacher to complete a box.

During the subsequent question and answer session, the pupils showed great interest and impressed with their knowledge, as they had listened very attentively during the tour.

The trip was an exciting experience for everyone involved. We hope that the young people were able to gain their first insights into possible career fields and wish them every success for the future.
