Steinbacher celebrates 130 years of company history
Thanks to the efforts of dedicated colleagues, responsible company management and the trust of customers, the Steinbacher team can look back on 130 years of company history this year. With Michael Steinbacher, who in 1894 had a Carpentry business with building business and steam sawmill in Hollenstein/Ybbs, the story once began.

Year-end celebration under the motto "Time travel"
On Friday, 13 December 2024, the end-of-year party was held in the spirit of the 130th anniversary. The motto "Time travel" formed the thematic framework for the evening, with vintage clothing and live music providing the right "good old vibes".
After a punch and mulled wine drink in front of Gasthof Osterberger on Hollenstein's town square, Martina and Helmut Steinbacher reviewed the company's history and this year's financial year in the form of an entertaining presentation.
This was followed by a joint puzzle. A quiz centred around the year Steinbacher was founded and general historical knowledge was required: is it true, for example, that the first "paper handkerchief" was produced in Germany in 1894? was patented?
Long-standing colleagues who are now in well-deserved retirement were also warmly invited to the end-of-year party and shared one or two anecdotes from their earlier days.
Flexibility and adaptability have always characterised the Steinbacher team and are the key to the successful continuation of the company, even in the present, which is characterised by an economic crisis and a shortage of skilled workers, and provide the necessary support for major investments planned for the coming year 2025.

Of course, there was also an anniversary cake and, true to style, snapshots could be taken with an instant camera.
An evening that will live long in the memory.
